Summer Fruit Coolers

2 2/3 cups seeded, peeled, and coarsely chopped
cantaloupe or watermelon
2 to 4 Tbs. sugar
2 to 3 Tbs. lime juice
2 cups water
Ice

In a blender, smoothly puree fruit; season to taste with sigar and lime juice.
Combine fruit mixture and water in a large pitcher. If desired, pour through a
stainer to eliminate pulp. Cover and refrigerate for up to a week. To serve
stir
well and pour into tall glasses over ice. Makes about 1 quart

You can try other summer fruits like strawberries or Kiwi.

For strawberries use 2 1/4 cups rinsed and hulled strwaberries, 3 to 4 tbs.
sugar,
1 1/2 tbs. lime juice and 2 1/2 cups water.

For kiwi use 1 2/3 cups peeled and coarsely chopped firm kiwi, 2 to 3 tbs.
sugar,
2 teaspoons lime juice and 2 cups water.
