1/4 cup soy sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 TB olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves diced fresh garlic
1/4 cup water
mix altogether until brown sugar is dissolved. Butterfly chicken breasts
about 4 which will be 8 after you have butterflied them. Put into a 1 gal zip
lock bag and pour in marinade. Do this the night before you want to grill.
Then pull out when ready to grill. You can also save part of the marinade
before you add it to the chicken, to make a teriyaki glaze. Just add a little
cornstarch that you have mixed with water to the marinade. Then microwave for 2-3 minutes until it thickens. Enjoy!
