1 small pkg. gelatin (ex. peach jello for peach ice cream)
2 cups boiling water
4 cups mashed fruit
3-4 cups sugar (I did 3)
1 tsp. salt
Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 Tbsp)
1 pint Heavy cream
1 1/2 qt milk
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Cool (I just let it sit the amount of time it takes me to prepare other ingredients). Mix sugar, mashed fruit, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl. Add cooled gelatin and pour in to ice cream freezer. Add cream and pour in enough milk to fill line of 4 quart freezer.
